Location: 135 Odell Street, Lackawanna
Date: Saturday, August 27
Time: 9 am – 4 pm, Flexible volunteer shifts
The greatest toy of a child is her or his imagination. Join us on Saturday, August 27th, for the next Pop-Up Park, an event that provides children with the tools and materials to create their own play items fresh out of their imagination. We have enjoyed participating in several Pop-Up Parks in the past few years. Volunteer activities will include picking up materials, checking-in and orientation for families, spotters for children, tool training, serving lunches, cleaning up at the end of the day, and having fun!
The location will be 135 Odell Street in Lackawanna. To learn more about Pop-Up Parks, you can visit www.popupparkbuffalo.com.
One of the greatest rewards of these events has been watching the joy on the children’s faces as they finish building and begin to play with their creation! We will have flexible volunteer shifts of two hours or more based on your availability.
To volunteer or ask questions, send an email to our Board Member Adam at firstname.lastname@example.org.
