City of Light Committee
Each holiday season, members of B Team Buffalo organize a grassroots event called City of Light. The goal of the initiative is to decorate a neighborhood in the city so that it shines for the holidays. In addition, B Team Buffalo also hosts a free winter carnival and dinner for the families in the community. Committee members are needed to help with planning for the 2020 City of Light to be held in December.

The Fundraising Committee is made up of Board and non-Board members. The committee is responsible for developing and reviewing fiscal procedures, fundraising plans, and the annual budget with our neighborhood partner and other Board members. The fundraising committee looks for ways to increase the B Team revenue through a number of fundraising efforts (Happy Hours and partnering events) and various grants and sponsorship opportunities. Our team works diligently uncovering unique opportunities that are a good fit for our organization.

The B Team Buffalo Marketing Committee handles all communication between the B Team Board of Directors, members, and potential volunteers. This includes the organization’s calendar, website, newsletter and social networking channels. As a member of this committee you are the outward facing voice of the organization.

The Membership Committee is responsible for member outreach and engagement. We work on recruiting new members, track volunteer hours, and plan member appreciation events. We would love some fresh, new ideas for ways to encourage and maintain member involvement with B Team.
