Send Hunger Packing: A Project to Help the Homeless

Did you know that more than 5,000 people in Erie County suffer from homelessness each year? How about the fact that over 100,000 Western New Yorkers turn to food pantries and other similar organizations for food assistance? Join B Team Buffalo as we prepare ziploc bags with non-perishable food items that can be given to individuals that are part of this underserved population. We need as many hands we can get to mass-produce these mini, easy-to-distribute bags!

A local organization that works directly with the homeless will give a brief presentation about this important cause. These ziploc bags will be distributed to a number of different organizations who provide food assistance to our region.
